Around the third week in September, we make our own wine. Our guests are cordially invited to be present and possibly lend a hand.
We start the morning with picking grapes. Then the grapes are crushed and transferred into the fermentation bin. Depending on the sugar content of the grapes some other things besides yeast is added. Finally, all is mixed together, and let the natural fermentation to do its job.
However, all the following days we have to mix again. After 5-10 days, the wine is drained and stored in stainless steel vats. The result of last September we let you try in the summer.
